Our 7 Steps of Effective Wet Sanitation
At Ledesma Sanitation Groups, we don't just clean-we follow a rigorous, science-based sanitation process. This proven 7-step method ensures we eliminate soil, bacteria, and viruses, providing a safe, clean, and sanitary environment.
One Step at a time
Step 1: Dry Clean
Sweep Floors, remove materials, tools, loose or bulk soils and debris for the area
Step 2: First Rinse
The area and equipment surfaces are rinsed until they are visually 95% free of soils.
Step 3: Soap & Scour
Foam the walls, then the floor, then equipment
set contact time, 10-15 min. Do not allow soap to dry, may form a stronger soil
Scrub to remove the layer of visible contaminants that may remain after the application of detergent
Step 4: Post Rinse & Inspect
Remove chemical and soil via flood rinse
Rinse in the order the soap was applied: walls, then floors, then equipment
Step 5: Remove & Assemble
Verify all chemical is removed (sight, PH paper)
Remove all standing water and overhead condensation
Standing water prevents sanitizer contact, with the surface
Step 6: Pre-op
Inspect equipment, confirm all contact surfaces (especially food contact) are free of any soiling. An inspection by the person who cleaned this area will reduce the chances of problems. Have hand-scrubbing detergents and a scrubbing pad with you as you go to resolve any remaining soil issues as you go.
Step 7: Sanitize
Make sure there is no standing water before beginning
